How long will it take?
This really depends on you and your pacing. Each job is unique. Clear Your Space matches the needs of our clients, and we never push you to work too fast nor too slow. If you need time to ponder and reflect during the process, we will respect that. If you prefer to plow through quickly, we can make that happen! Our goal is to “clear your space, ease your mind” as we work alongside you. The process is tried and true, and you will see and feel a difference after just one session!
Will you force me to get rid of my stuff?
We encourage our clients to get rid of things they don’t need but won’t ever force them to discard something they want to keep. We respect that people have attachments to heirlooms and treasures that bring them joy. Some resistance to paring down is typical, so we use gentle encouragement to help you make smart decisions.
What happens to things I want to discard?
Most of our clients have items they need to toss, donate, recycle, or sell. We have many local resources at our fingertips and will help you decide the best options for your castoffs. We can facilitate removal of items or the client can. There is a small fee to drop off donations, or we can arrange pick-up by a local charity. If you’d like to sell some items, we can recommend consignment stores.
Do you charge by the hour or the job?
We work hard to do a good job in a reasonable amount of time. Pricing is by the hour and we offer discounted packages. We provide a good value for our clients and price our services competitively.
Do you work by yourself?
Most of the time, it’s just Jodie working alongside the client. This creates a very personal relationship. Sometimes on larger jobs or if time is of the essence, she will bring in other organizers to make speedy progress.
How will you maintain my privacy?
We work in a careful, respectful, and confidential manner with all our clients. We also abide by the NAPO Code of Ethics.
